Best Classical Music of All Time – Ranked

I found more than 10 lists of “best classical music” and combined them into one meta-list. Here are the results – every piece of music that was on four or more of the original source lists, organized by rank, that is, with the works on the most lists at the top. I’ve arranged works on the same number of lists chronologically by composer’s birthdate and then chronologically by date of composition. To see the same list organized chronologically by date of composition, go here. I have also created a much more comprehensive list that is organized by composer, which includes every piece of music on three or more of the lists, here.

    I don’t understand:

    7:
Frédéric Chopin: Preludes, Book I, Op. 28 (1839)

    6:
    Frédéric Chopin: 24 Preludes, Op. 28 (1839)

    Is this two separated works?
